First Crayon is an Edtech startup launched in late 2015 that is focused on helping parents find their ideal preschool. With over 1,300 preschools listed on the platform all across Mumbai, First Crayon is that largest platform of its kind in the city. The founding team comprises of entrepreneurs and industry professionals from ISB, INSEAD, Arthur D. Little, Vogue, and Quality Council of India who have come together to to make each parent and child's life simpler, more cheerful, and more productive.
About the Internship:
1) Attend a day-long training program at company's office
2) Visit and interview preschools (daycare, mother toddler, playgroup, pre-nursery, kindergarten) in a mutually agreed upon area
3) Enter data collected during interview into google spreadsheet
4) Provide daily report electronically
5) Visit office once a week and submit the interviewed forms
What do Students get out of this internship:
Through this internship, students get trained in communication, negotiation, research methodology, and field data collection. With backgrounds from venture capital, management consulting, and education sectors, First Crayon's founders are able to add significant value to the student's career prospects.
Stipend: ₹ 3000 to ₹ 6000 a month
