Job Description:

Sri Adhikari Brothers Group is a pioneer in the field of Indian Media and has gone through various stages of growth over the last 3 decades. It is a leading Indian M&E conglomerate with interests in Broadcast, films, content production and publishing. The group’s channel Mastiii is the leading channel in Hindi Youth & Music genre in the Indian M&E industry and continues to be rated as the no. 1 television channel in the music genre. (Source: BARC).The group has envisioned and founded the comedy genre in Indian broadcasting sector by creating a leading light humor centric television brand, SAB TV. The Group has a network of five channels and intends to expand its bouquet by launching various channels in the years to come and also concentrating on expansion of its core business i.e. Content Production and Syndication.
Governance Now which is an English Subscription (Print + Digital) from Sri Adhikari Brothers aims at creating awareness in the society on issues of governance & policy.

The group is already in the process of setting up two states of art production studios and its film production arm expects to sign 8-10 more projects in the coming financial year. 


Position: Sales Trainee
Duration: 3 months
Location: Mumbai and Gurgaon
Stipend: Rs. 8,000/- p.m.

Context:  

The internship program would help the candidates to get a comprehensive understanding of Media Industry and Media sales.


Job Description:
·         Will work with the sales team to understand markets, implementation of plans, competition, etc.
·         Will be responsible for research to provide data inputs pertaining to competition, industry, etc.
·         Provide support to social media efforts.
·         Visiting corporate clients and Media agencies for promoting SAB Network channels.
·         Maintaining daily sales/survey report

Candidate Requirements:
A graduate/post graduate student with majors in Sales, Marketing or Advertising.
Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Enthusiasm, creativity, and a desire to learn the media business.
PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is a bonus.
